Unique, casted Christmas ornament made of recycled glass. Designed by Pernille Bülow and handmade at our workshop in Nexø, Bornholm.The ReUse collection is made of waste glass from Novo Nordisk. They have large amounts of excess borosilicate glass, which we remelt and shape into fine craft products so that the excess glass is recycled. The cast products are made from crushed glass to which we add colour and then melt it into large sheets. In the heat, the glass forms crystals, making the finished products resemble granite, slate or marble.
The Christmas ornament is strung on a thin, clear ribbon.
